Didn't think I'd be back so soon, didja! heh heh....

We arrived back in San Diego late last night but were immediately evicted from our house so it could be shown—again!—today to the best prospective buyers we've had all year! (Prayers, please!) So we’re “living” in our car, rumpled and jetlagged, hanging out at the library, clinging to our laptop, feeling new compassion for the homeless....

lovesMountains... Thank you!—but I am writing for a living! ...... Wait..... hmmm.... You aren’t sending royalty checks??

Father John... Thank you! You too have a safe and happy trip to New England! You do realize we’ll be getting your “leftover” autumn leaves down South?? Make ‘em purty!

LiveLaughLove... Thank you! Your screen name always reminds me fondly of the name of my (newly defunct) musical group, “Joyful Spirits.” Live... laugh... love... joy... spirit... is there anything else, really?

a2zmom... By about October 7, we’ll be back in NC and living five minutes from you just outside the top of town! When are you moving to H’ville? Hope you’ll be there for the October 20 noon event at the Courthouse. It’s called “Bearfootin’”—music, food, fun, and a 2:30 public auction of 20 large bear sculptures, every one unique and painted by local(?) artists to support local charitable causes. If you’ll be there by then, maybe we could get together for brunch....

lovesMountains... You’ve got me thinking now. Maybe we could pool our individual stories and publish “THROBS: Adventures of Carolina Heart Transplants.”

Ya gotta love this forum!

Jan

We hope to be there by then too! I will keep my calender clear for the 20th! As it gets closer, I'll see where we are and PM you, K?

That's good! (A two-year-old, if you have one, would love the bears!)
