Gas prices in the High Country are higher than average. And for a poor college student (me) a couple of bucks each fill-up can mean a lot. Where are the lowest gas prices in Boone?

"Cheap gas" and "Boone" is an oxymoron. If it makes you feel any better, the gas prices in Boone theses days aren't as out of line with "off the mountain" as they used to be 10-20 years ago.

Having said that, I find that the Wilco/Hess on Hwy 105 at the foot of Seven Devils generally tends to be a few cents cheaper than the gas stations in Boone. Remember, however, $.04/gallon x 20 gallon tank = $.80. No need to use a gallon of gas to "save" $.80.

P.S. I use Gas Buddy all the time.
