Hi,
We are having a hard time finding a hotel/motel with a suite that is not more than about $160 per night or so.

I found this one, albeit a strange set up, but could work.

I would love opinions on the cleanliness and the restaurant as well if possible on this motel/hotel.

Thank you!

It was a Holiday Inn a decade plus ago...that's the last time we were there, as our house was nearly done.
I have no personal opins, as that was ~mid 2001.
Fwiw, TA's opins:
Maggie Valley Inn and Conference Center (Maggie Valley, NC) - Hotel Reviews - TripAdvisor

It is well located: 10mins from downtown Waynesville, 7 mins to I-40, etc.

Two hurdles in your 'suite' request post(s): few of us that live here stay in motels/hotels very often, and very few motels in western NC, (non-Asheville), have 'suites' that I am aware of, as most motels are aimed at tourists.
Hopefully, a poster can steer you better.
GL, mD

Thank you MD

They were booked anyway

Seems it is the *Apple Growers Convention* (something like that) so Saturday night is booked most everywhere.

We ended up booking a *suite* (they call it the jaccuzzi room ) in a place called; The Maggie Valley Inn and Conference Center in Maggie Valley. Only $99 per night and we were ready to pay closer to $200 per night, so this is a bonus as long as it is clean.

We do not intend to do much more than sleep anyway, as we want to check out as many neighborhoods and such as possible in Waynesville, Asheville and Hendersonville. Possibly Weaverville in case my husband ends up working in Asheville, or finds a shop for an interview in Weaverville.

Thank you for the link! You are always so very helpful and I appreciate it very much

If there are any areas in those towns that we should absolutely avoid please feel free to share, as we truly want to focus what little time we have on the areas we would likely frequent.

Thanks again MD,
SMP

It is rated 14 of 26 hotels in Maggie Valley by Trip Advisor with 48 reviews.

If you are non-smoker, The Country Manor, might fit your needs.
