We are in the middle of getting our mortgage to close the middle of November to live in Fletcher, NC. We are in love with the house despite it needing work on it (what doesn't?) and can't wait to leave Florida and get up there.

We will have to drive with our three cats in the car who never go outside...which should be quite an experience! Next week I am getting moving estimates for the furniture from movers. Too much to do while still have to work full time.

We have NOT sold our South Florida condo and can survive a short time without selling it. We are just going to keep dropping the price and keep praying it sells so we have more dollars to put into the new house for renovations.

Very excited....life goes on...we must too.

Good for you. We are also in the process of selling our home in FL and if that doesn't work we will rent it out.I can't wait to get out of FL and move to NC.
We made a move in the late 70's from the east coast to CA with two cats, two dogs two birds and my mom and our then pre teen daughter.Three cats is a breeze.lol
Good luck
