Default Thanksgiving - Boone

We are going to Boone for Thanksgiving Dinner. We were wondering is there anything to do during the day that will be open ?
Thanks

If it's cold enough to make snow...or if snow has fallen by then...you could enjoy skiing! The resorts will be open, But most everything else will be closed. It could be a great day to build a fire (assuming you have a fireplace available) and read...play board games...take a drive on the parkway and enjoy the vistas now that the leaves have fallen...go out and toss around a football...you know, family time!
