Looking at places to inhabit just south or east of the Mission hospital (access to Biltmore Avenue), this appears to be a good central area on paper, having a 1- to 2-mile radius with many destinations one might travel. For a reasonably quick bike ride or perhaps walking distance you could get to downtown, the arts district, the mall, or Biltmore Village. But knowing that in other parts of the city some roads are very unappealing for biking or even dangerous to be crossing the street (eg. no sidewalks, obscured views, abrupt hills), I wonder how suitable it is here.

Kenilworth is a nice, central neighborhood near Mission.

When I put that area name into a map, it returns a rather large area almost south to Swannanoa R., and north to Tunnel Rd. I was looking around closer to the campus.

Kennilworth is very close to the campus. It's directly behind St Joes Hospital

Is this a good area to walk around or bike at night?
