IG712 is on a distinguished road
Default Hudson and Lenoir

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house in Hudson. I found things to be ALOT more clean and tidy in Hudson,Granite Falls and Sawmills. I thought that the Lenoir area seemed to be "trashy". Also the roads to Lenoir are difficult, seems like it took 30 to 40 minutes to get to I40 from lenoir. Check out schoolmatters.com it was VERY helpful to us when deciding were to plant our roots! Good Luck.

I think Hudson is a perfect fit for us.Not to far away from Boone and 20min to shopping in Hickory. We live in a nice new develpment or will on the 26th.We closed on our house in hudson in Nov but we will be moving on the 26th.Our builder when they had a hard freeze came by to check on our home. Grea guy. The builder next door wll be putting a screened in porch next week.Lowes put our fence in on time. So far nothing but good things except for Pennys who made our blinds to big.I will also miss the big supermarkets that we have been use to but we can live with that and a super Walmart will be coming soon.

Have you found Connelly Springs Road? It is a very popular shortcut and one of the busiest county roads in the state. If you are coming from the east on I-40 321 is best but if you are coming from the west then get off on exit 113 and go north to the eighth light. There is a 24 hour Coffee Shop on the right. Turn right and it takes you right into the north end of Hudson.
Getting back to the OPs original question: Take a look at Granite Falls especially the Grace Chapel area which although in Caldwell County, it has a Hickory Address.
Nomorecold...........I suggest you also look at this area.
