I saw the most spectacular light show in the mountains in south Asheville. Did anyone else see it? Enjoy!

The photos were taken about 6 PM in south Asheville off of Sweeten Creek Rd not far from Rock Hill Rd. It looked so cool, I believe that it was just a weird break in the clouds that let the sun shine in a way that looked like a band of fire in the mountains.

Is this picture taken from the land down under? I didn't think they meant it literally. Great sunset pic!

Thanks tucler, the sun was no where to be seen. That is what made the sight more spectacular!

Nope, still upside down. If it is in your picture gallery on your computer, maybe you can right click on it and "correct" it by rotating it?

Nevertheless, it is an awesome picture ! Thanks for sharing.
