So my sister and I are planning on moving somewhere in the US in a couple of years. We're young (early twenties) and are just excited to graduate college, work hard, save up money, and move to a new place and have some adventures. We love the outdoors so we're looking to move to a city that has a national park nearby with mountains, rivers, waterfalls and places to hike, camp, kayak, swim, etc. and I've visited Asheville area before and I fell in love with it. I've always loved North Carolina as I've driven through it many times and spent a couple of weeks there two different summers. We grew up in the south and I've always heard how laid-back and cool Asheville is. We would be looking for a cheap apartment also since we would be just starting out. My sister and I are very conservative Catholics, is there a solid Christian community there at least? I would love to move to a laid-back, outdoorsy, maybe a little artistic, fun city. Any advice about Asheville? Thanks!

You don't give any details about what your degree is or rent expectations are. Not really much to go on.
But.....Advice: Don't move to Asheville as a new college graduate unless you happen to be a nurse(healthcare is the only sector that really thrives here). You will be competing with all those who attended school in Asheville and already want to stay. You won't be able to find an entry level job and most likely become a service industry worker. If that's ok with you, well go for it, otherwise choose a city with more job prospects due to more technology and business related companies gain a few years experience then reevaluate.
