yes.. exactly... this is the system and it harms most americans... BUT high tax rates are placed on the wealthy in these other countrys with higher life spans... THIS then makes for higher wages for the people..... LOW taxes on the wealthy means low wages for the workers.... This is what the media does NOT EXPLAIN!!!..

How does high tax rates on the high profits make for higher wages???? the owners THEN have a CHOICE ... to pay uncle sam or pay the workers which lowers the profit and makes for no taxes to to govt... this is how the 1950's was in america..... very high tax rates on high profits and this made the companies just give it to the workers instead of uncle sam....

all other industrialized countrys has what we had in the 1950's and they have higher wages .. less wealth inequality and longer life spans and better health and happiness..

pass high tax laws on the wealthy and this will make wages go up and americans will become happier ands healthier with longer life spans... BUT america is going in the opposite direction... and may not can be stopped without great painful disasters.... Canada may be the best solution...

And I don't see any change comming soon with our options in politicians. Not to mention our health system which seems to be getting worse daily. Goverment seems to be getting more envolved with butting into how we raise our children and being politicly correct with religion that sometimes you can't even write about it in these forums because then you are throwing your religious thought unto others. Wish is simply a shame.

Since you aren't happy living in the most blessed nation in the entire world - a place millions of other people can only dream of living one day, why don't you just make the move to Canada?

yes.. canada does protect its peoples jobs alot better and is harder to become a citizen because of that... USA govt.. seems to help run in illegals to lower the wages on americans to help the wealthy... this has created a big inequality system which results in a harmful life.... americans life span was 13th best in the world in 1960.. down to 26th best in 2000 and this is with the worlds best advantage the best resources.. and now global warming will help canada even more and world hate on america will hurt americans more and more...

I don't see what any of this discussion has to do with North Carolina.

Thanks for saying that Robin

I think Starman might want to voice his "opinions" on another type of board.

BTW, did I read you made your first trip to NC??
