Fun in Asheville!
Hey everyone,
We are making another trip to Asheville, this time with the whole family. We want to do some fun things with the kids. Any one have any ideas on fun things to do? We would love to see the Cherokee reservation, does anyone have any info.? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hop over to Dillsboro or Bryson City and ride the Smokey Mountain Express. This is an open air train ride that everyone loves. Ride over to Chimney Rock (25 miles) and visit Chimney Rock Park -the cool elevator ride, the trails, caves and waterfalls make it worth the price of admission. The scenic beauty of the area is breathtaking

Wow, that sounds wonderful thanks for the tip. Do you think we can do that all in one day?

No, unfortunately. They are on opposite side of Asheville for one thing. But also, the train ride takes 3 or 4 hours and you'll want at least that long at Chimney Rock too. Google both these places and you can learn more about them and see great photos's

Anyone that travel's to Asheville should go see the Biltmore Estate and Garden's. It truly is a wonderful experience. The mansion is like a huge castle, it's one of the largest estate's in the United States. It's a place that you will never forget. Have a great trip!
