I am sorry but I just saw this post.
We just moved to Hudson late Nov. I love the area being so close to Hickory for shopping but not living in a bigger town like hickory plus in my opinion you can get more house for your money in Hudson in a subdivision but on a large lot.
I also love being so close to the mountains. That and the shopping being so close to Hudson makes it ideal.
