Default No worries

Haywood County - Friday AM - County Schools are closed. Some icy roads (depending mainly on where one lives...I had not problem). No power outages that I know of.

More snow coming tomorrow?! This time, I don't think that it will be followed by rain...

Jan, you'll be able to dance and sing again!!!!!!!!!

Seriously... it's not looking good for my travel on Saturday from Hendersonville to Black Mountain. Forecast for Saturday in Asheville region is for more snow, ice, and hazardous driving. Never in my life have I had to cancel anything because of weather, so this is all more interesting to me than you may imagine. I am learning to live with mountain weather and (blush) even enjoy it despite probably having to re-schedule eleven dulcimer students, dinner out, and church in Black Mountain!

I understand the cold front is coming from Canada, the moisture from the south (the Gulf), which translates to snow/ice in Hendersonville. My question: How much of that would Black Mountain be likely to get?

Jan
may have to buy a Monopoly set—ha!

I'd say Hendersonville and Black Mountain's climate would be very close to the same.

Historical Average Temperatures for January

Hendersonville - 49.0/26.5 (Elevation 2,200)

Black Mountain - 48.6/27.0 (Elevation 2,400)
