Carpenter Bees will be hovering and buzzing before we know it. Drilling holes in the siding -- the little 'buggers'.

Trying to stay on a positive note about the up and down weather......maybe all the nasty stink bugs that have shown up in the last few warm days will freeze to death! An FYI we keep small Russell Stover or Whitmans candy boxes around to capture them as the show up then stick the box in the freezer. They die pretty fast then out the door. Beats smelling squashing and I want them dead so no throwing alive outside to reproduce. Stay warm until the next warm air mass, when we once again throw off our winter wear. On, off, on, off, on, off....................

Time to break out the fly swat and play carpenter bee baseball.

If I'm grilling, I use the metal spatula. The ring it gives when you make contact is so satisfying.

B-b-but please wash off that spatula before flipping my steak ! I'm allergic to bees, dead or alive. And please, nothing yellow & black in my salad. Thanks.

It is definitely that time of year that if the current weather does not appeal to you, go to bed and try again tomorrow!

I spent the weekend pressure washing our driveway, and we had somebody pressure wash the house Monday and Tuesday. Nobody is lining up to use the pressure washers today or for the next few.

It is snowing down here in Hooterville, too. Not expecting any accumulation that I have heard. I think the low tonight is only supposed to drop to 32.

Just enough to look interesting.

Nothing sticking here. Pretty though. I wish we got one more few inch accumulation this year. Bummer. Another very strange winter. Very warm for the most part with only one actual (but big) snow.
