Hello, can anyone recommend a driving school in the Waynesville area that teaches adults how to drive a manual transmission? I am only finding schools listed online that are in Hendersonville/Fletcher. I'm okay with an Asheville school since that is relatively nearby (in western NC travel time).

Thanks!

Do you currently have a DL and are you a good driver?
I might be willing to let you drive one our two manual trans cars post late April...enough to get you capable in a manual trans.

If you are a beginning driver, maybe not.

De nada mi amigos...just trying to help if OP is serious/knows how to drive well currently and is willing to spend a couple Sunday mornings in the old Waynesville Walmart parking lot and local, later.

I taught our two kids how to drive a stick, and a friend of our kids, way back in the mid 80s.

We have two cars with manual, the old BMW X5 and the VetteVert: both are cake/forgiving to learn on, imo.

Thanks for the offer, but I prefer to stick with a professional company - particularly as they will be okay with me grinding the gears on their practice car!
