Thanks for asking this! We just moved up here (north of Canton) permanently on Thursday and I need to find someone to cut my hair. It's very fine and I am wearing a short choppy shag, which can be messed up pretty easily. And I am picky about my hair, too. Ha ha.
I also need to find a good chiropractor and dentist. I am still looking for a good vet, too.
I would prefer to stay in the Waynesville area, but will drive to Asheville if necessary.
I highly recommend Christy owner of Hello Gorgeous salon in Waynesville! I moved to Waynesville 13 years ago from Miami and I am accustomed to great haircuts and styling from South Florida, and found it's extremely difficult to get a quality upper class style and cut in Western North Carolina for many years. I tried so many salons in Asheville and just when I found a perfect master stylist, he moved a year later to Nevada. I then asked my son's kindergarten teacher 3 years ago who cut her hair as it looked great and she recommended Christy. I have now been going to Christy at Hello Gorgeous every 6 weeks and I am thrilled and the best part is that she is in town!
