I've seen two shows in the last month: The Collection (my favorite 'Christian' band) and Ben Harper (my all-time favorite solo artist). Sound was terrible for both, and I'd prefer to sit, being 58, but I enjoyed both shows. I don't like to complain about things I can't change, so I just try to have fun. Ben called the Orange Peel 'world famous', is that right? I like that it's next to Wicked Weed.

ive seen a few shows there and have never had any complaints. And that's from someone who hates crowded social events. I just gravitate toward the back, and I'm good. Ive always thought the sound was pretty good. Planning on seeing Silversun Pickups, and Chevelle later in the year.

we go to the peel regularly. nice folks, relaxed atmosphere, usually affordable prices. I also like that they offer shows/their venue for free every now and then (soccer games, rocky horror picture show)
my teenage kids love going there for concerts. and they don't care if there are seats or not .
