How are the farm markets in the Watauga County area, especially Boone and Blowing Rock?

Any or many organic vendors?

Good variety of food products?

I know there is an Earth Fare grocery store in Boone... and we like them.

Also, I see that there is a food store in Boone called the Be Natural Market?

Do you have any knowledge about that store and how you like it?

We are thinking of moving to the area for the summer weather....and food sources are important to us. We love to cook, and like to patronize local suppliers.

Thanks for any information.

The Watauga County Farmer's Market is really nice. Watauga County Farmers' Market - Boone NC

The surrounding counties have their own as well. High Country Farmers Markets

This is also a good source for local farms. Find Local Cheeses from Boone, NC Farms and More! | Agrilicious!

Until recently the store was known as Bare Essentials. It's been in Boone for more than 30 years, and for any independent retail business to last that long, it has to be doing a lot things right. You can read more about it here.
