"An unnamed company is considering Buncombe County for 500 jobs, according to minutes from a recent meeting of the board of commissioners. Chairman Brownie Newman declined to comment on the potential deal. It would be the second 500+ jobs announcement for the area in recent months: Avadim Technologies in Septemberannounced a 550-jobexpansion in Black Mountain."

It appears this will be the second recent 500-or-more job announcement for Buncombe County recently. That is good news.

I am still wondering if that tech company decided to open in Asheville. It would definitely be a good thing for AVL.
