You don't have to live there to know there.

I am happy there, but if I'm not happy there...... I relocated to another there.

Wherever I go, there I am.

Seen enough nice mountain towns out west to know. Forget about places like Brevard or Black Mountain, which is just a gentrified “couple of blocks” extension of ultra dumpy Swannanoa. Nowhere other than WNC would it rise above the rest.[/quote]

Can you list some of the nice mountain towns out west you have seen and are recommending?

Default Still live in Marshall?

driveway. My goods were placed in my barn a few hundred feet up my drive.
My neighbors pulled together and with a four wheel drive mid sized pickup made numerous
trips up the mountain, getting us settled in.
Just today one neighbor called to see if we needed anything, not long after that another
called to tell me mail was put in his box and come on down to say hi and pick it up.
I got reimbursed a portion of the cost of moving from the moving co. and passed on a
portion to my good neighbors.
I wouldn't trade this country lifestyle for anything.
These people are the Salt of the Earth.
I am very curious...do you still enjoy living in that town?. People are the most important variable when relocating.
