Default NC Arboretum?

Anyone have thoughts on the Arboretum in Arden? It looks like it has a lot to offer for everyone, kids as well as adults. How are the hiking/biking trails? Education/Kids programs? Anything else anyone wants to offer... Thanks.

It's not really in Arden, but I really like the Arboretum. I don't get there enough. In the same area there are miles and miles of Mountain Biking trails that are lots of fun.

I guess I'd have to say that it is what you can make of it. I really have enjoyed it each time I have been - whether I am riding a mountain bike, or just strolling amidst the impressive foliage. It is a peaceful, wonderful place.

Not sure most kids would find much to hold their interest for very long.

My kids actually love going there for a pinic and hike when the weather nice. They have some pretty cool educational programs every now and then geared towards kids but I would suggest you visit their website to find out what is coming up.
