I got an email from Jesse at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial that "due to low attendance" there will not be a festival as usual the first weekend in October. They're bring back the "Angel ' play from last year but no race, no pilgrimage to the grave, no dinner in the old house, nothin! My mom and I were planning a roadtrip earlier than usual just to get in on the Festival which we always managed to miss before. Do any of you Ashevilleans or Wolfeans know of anything being planned? Any info appreciated.
