i did not mean to call the mountains old in asheville but they just looked old and looked like they were falling down and falling apart

They are old, around 300 million years, according to geologists. The Rockies are just kids, but await the same fate.

why 300 million years old thats real old so thats why they probably look old and looked rusted and falling apart

LOL!! They are beautiful and rolling. The Rockies are beautiful too, as are the Cascades and the many other mountain ranges across this country. They all have a different type of beauty.

Our mountains seem to have a vibration that is very spiritual. At least, they do to me!!

We also have micro-climates that are formed in and between our mountains.

I realize that - since you are used to a different type of mountains - you have not discovered the awesome beauty of the Blue Ridge, but think of it as a completely different geological formation - ancient. Primordial, even.

wow 300 million years old is real old thats why they look old and rusted are yaw people scared in ashville around the mountains because they are so old because yaw could be driving by one of the mountains one day and a big piece of rock could brake off and fall on your car and smash it

Yes, we have rock slides in our mountains. Indeed a large one in Haywood Co made national headlines about - oh -10 or so years ago . . .

because when i use to live in asheville i had to drive by yaws small mountains and i was scared driving by them small mountains because i was scared that a big piece of rock was going to brake off and start tumbling down the mountain and land on my car and smash it

oh my gosh that is dangerous living and driving around them small mountains because you never no when a piece will brake off and fall
