A friend wants to relocate from Pennsylvania. Would anyone take a look at the area at 500 JJ Gurry Road in Rutherfordton that is vacant for me? I would be most grateful for input. Thank you in advance!

Helluva house, big, and entry road in is obscured by tree canopy on Goog maps...
Fwiw, elevation is under a thousand feet which translates to 'warm to hot' from May through September, imo.

You can't "close" a thread. It lives forever, unless it get hijacked and generates a lot of nasty and/or controversial posts, in which case a moderator will close it.

Ruther-ferd-tun. Emphasis on the first syllable.

Depends on the local. Rufftun is not uncommon, and comically is the way Waze pronounces it. And I hope that's Ruh-ther-ferd-tun and not Roother-ferd-tun.
