There has been an ice storm in the area, you may want to rethink the trip.

Yes! It is our neighbor town. BC is nice. We love where we are at here in Jackson County <3

Default Bryson City - Healthcare?

We would love to live in Bryson City, but not sure about access to healthcare. Any feedback on this? Long trip to Mission if something serious happens (we are in our 50s and will only get older)...

Luckily it just was more than a dusting, really not even enough for some kids to sled on in the entrance to the hotel I stayed at(god bless em for trying though!) BC was a neat little town though, and the mountains are so much larger than they are in West Virginia!(where I usually spend a lot of time in winter)

Good for you. Glad you didn't let anyone talk you out of your plans. A little sprinkling is nice

Their restaurants really suck this time of year. The Italian one is good though.
