Default Polk County bought Lake Adger -- help!

Does anyone know how Polk County buying Lake Adger from Northbrook Carolina Hydro will effect the residents of Lake Adger???

Well, it is now PUBLIC LAND not private! Somebody may have to share the water for a change!

first, they bought the lake bed, not the land so all rights to owners and land are grandfathered in. I checked the covenant. second, they can only take so much water a yr, and that won't start for about 5 yrs and only if and when they need it BUT it will force the county to keep the lake as pristine as it is now.
Seems they learned from Lanier and Hartwell that it has to be stricter guidlines. I am interested in buying property to retire on, on this lake so I actually did some research and it looks to me, that the county buying the water rights is a good thing. PLus it is written in to the deed that the docks and slips deeded now, are the only ones ever to be allowed. So, its all good.
