Smile Bryson City

Hi everyone! We are planning to relocate to Bryson City in June. We are visiting the area next week....for house hunting. I was wondering if anyone had any advise on the area. We have two elementary age children, can you tell me if East or West Elementary is better, what neighborhoods I should avoid? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I substitute teach at all the Swain County Schools. My grandson went to West Elementary for 5th grade when we moved here 2 years ago and loved it. Structurally, both schools are layed out the same. I think West is the newer of the 2 schools. Both have excellent teachers and caring staff. I don't really see a whole lot of difference in the two so I don't think you need to be overly concerned about which school your child attends.

I love everywhere in and around Bryson City so really can't say that one area is better than another. Just find a place that has what you want and you are happy with and I am sure everything will be fine.

I had been to Bryson City many times over the years before I moved here. I still had a lot of questions when I finally made the move. I would be glad to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability.
