Default Living in Marion?

First of all I'm turning 60 at the end of the Month.
The Company I work for has made several comments about me moving from a Texas City to Marion. I'm from a small town so that isn't a problem.
Most of the people I've met that work in the Marion plant do not live in Marion and are younger so they probably have kids still at home.
If I were to move to Marion it would more than likely be a short term 5 year deal and I would not be interested in staying there for retirement. So, I'd want to think about renting or leasing a home or townhouse.
Anyone know how Marion is set up for the possibility of nice rentals in decent low crime areas?

NCBND is on a distinguished road
Rentals in Marion are kind of tough according to my realtor there - lots of demand and very tight supply. You might want to contact a realty agency named Brooks and Broadwell (828) 652-7757 as they are the largest rental manager in town. They can probably give you a good idea of the rental possibilities. Good luck and I hope that you like Marion.
