Have you been to Maggie Valley before? That's where we stay when we go, we LOVE it there!!! Hopefully you will still be able to drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Oh yea, The Apple Crate in Waynesville is also VERY good. People will tell you J Arthur's is great, but I think it's over priced and not that great. And Joey's is good, but I actually like the pancakes better at the Maggie Valley Rest.
I don't care for Snappys either, OH I almost forgot...Tony's is GREAT, maybe the best place to eat and reasonably priced, it's in Maggie Valley.

Thanksgiving in maggie valley
I don't know what will be open that day, but I love to eat at Granny's Chicken Palace and Sagebrush in Waynesville. The Mountaineer Restaurant is GREAT, it's on the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Maggie Valley Restaurant is also good. But I would eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich if I could just be there!!!!
