Me too!

I'll be at Sugar Mtn. tomorrow. My hubby's favorite Thanksgiving dinner is a "turkey sandwich in the base lodge." While my mother was still living, she knew better than to expect him in Raleigh for the family Thanksgiving. She still loved him anyway. Now that we don't "do" Thanksgiving with family, I've joined in his tradition.

LiveLoveLaugh... we'll do that ski lesson sometime soon.

Happy thanksgiving to you all as well. As a child it was a really big deal, everyone traveling to Mamie's house and gathering there, watching the parade on TV, having to sit at the "kids" table, Daddy carving the turkey, that ever slamming screen door! That was Thanksgiving for 17 years at 954 Hamilton St in Jacksonville . . . very fond memories!

Today, just me and my son Robert, gratefully sleeping most of the day, feeding the critters, collecting the eggs, splitting enough wood for tonight and tomorrow, putting the Turkey in about 4, just put the pie in, sweet 'taters in about 15 mins . . . Mmmmm . . . smells so good! Watching the news of Mumbai, and thanking God for the relative peace we're enjoying at home.

Grace and Peace to all of you on this day of Thanks!
Tracey

Happy Thanksgiving to you to and to everyone.
We stayed home this year! And it was wonderful. Will travel to see the family on Sunday.
We ate a big spread and watched a movie.. sure was nice to stay in sweat pants all day and out of the car.
I may never go anywhere on T-Day again.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday as well
