Default State & county jobs and unemployment
I have been applying for state & county jobs, particularly in the mountain region (looking to relocate from NY, and get away from constant snow). Is the state filling the openings, or are there hiring freezes? I am a Social Worker, and have worked with Children's Services.

Hiring freeze. Lots of other states don't get snow....
