Default Horseback riding near Bryson City

My BF and I are going to Spend a few days in the Bryson City area beginning May 21. We'd like to do a little horseback riding while we're there, and when I say a little I mean a little.

He has no experience whatsoever and I rode occasionally through my kid and teen years. All that means is that I know how to mount and dismount and am not petrified of getting on a horse.

We'd like one of those easygoing 2 hour or so rides through some pretty area on patient horses with patient guides. :-)

Any suggestions?

Jenny_B

p.s. We live in the Raleigh area and I'm a pretty regular poster on that board.

Check out Catalooche Ranch near Waynesville and Maggie Valley. It's not too far from Bryson City. There may be others closer, but that's the first place that crossed my mind.
