Default Biltmore estate, in Ashevile

Just a reminder to anyone that would like to visit the estate.. They have a great deal going on. On Father's Day, June 21, all fathers get in free. Also, kids get in free all summer and if you order tickets online, you get $10 off. All three of us are going on Father's day for $40.

BILTMORE in Asheville, North Carolina, Americas Largest Home and More!

Oh.. I wish I could drag DH to see it. He is not a native NCer (gasp.. I know, I know and he is a city boy too.. the horror, the horror) But I think he needs to see it. It is so unbelievable and you just can't get it from pics.

We visited back in the 80's and really enjoyed it. The wine cellar is awesome and we loved the winetasting too. My 10 yr old son has always wanted to see it since he saw the movie Richie Rich, so we thought we would take him to see it while this huge discount is going on, otherwise it would cost us well over 100-bucks!
