To be fair and balanced, there is also the Highcountry Mommies HighCountryMommies.com--High Country of North Carolina's Mom-to-Mom Connection in Northwestern NC, a great resource for Mom's in and near Boone! Highcountry Mommies is part of the larger national Mommies Network a non-profit founded in 2005. There are three groups in the high country, one each for Ashe, Watauga, and Avery counties. Highcountry Mommies has an online forum and is very active. Check out both groups and see which one is right for you! Maybe join both!
