Default Bakersville feedback anyone?
Would appreciate any information on Bakersville please. It looks nice, still within and hour or less of Maggie Valley and great views of the mountains so it suits our cup of tea so to speak. However, what is the crime like? Is it a safe place to live? Also, I understand there is a wolf preserve and was wondering if anyone up there has or knows someone that has horses and if they have encountered problems. Thank you heaps!!

hmmmm...not sure why you think you can get from Bakersville to Maggie Valley within an hour?? That's about a two hour trip actually. Both areas are lovely, though Maggie Valley is a bit of a tourist trap now.

Oh wow, ok I didn't know about the 2 hour trip, I apologize. I was looking at the map and then mapquested it, (should have known better actually). Thank you for the information!!!
