I240/I26 Connector in West Asheville (2010, neighborhoods, construction)

Does anyone know how far west the I240 expansion is going to go in West Asheville near Haywood and I-240? Did they officially decided on 8 or 6 lanes, or is that still up in the air?

The decision over which plan will be adopted is likely over a year off. Looks like they want to make the decision by October 2010, construction to start in 2013.
