Cause most of it is IN Asheville, it is not an incorporated municipality, it is just part of one.

I just saw this thread for the first time, and I just have to say, who in there right mind moves to WNC and expects it to be like Miami? Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, the OP.

Arden is really part of Asheville. It has it's own zip code, but it's not really recognized as different. Arden is a family community. It has an elementary school in it named Glen Arden. There are lots of middle class and some upper class neighborhoods.
