We are heading up there next weekend with teens- it will be crowded for skiing- any other suggestions if we don't ski every day- I know that Beech has a sledding hill for under 12-anywhere else you can recommend for sledding with teens? May ice skate- only done this at Beech- which is better- we are closer to Sugar....

Each ski area has its fans. I personally prefer Sugar... bigger mountain, longer runs, excellent snow making and grooming. Sugar has a tubing run and ice skating. If the weather and road conditions are iffy, Sugar is much more accessible. Can't help with advice on sledding, and I've never skated at Beech or Sugar. If you are mentally prepared for crowds and lines, it will go a long way to help you and your group enjoy your weekend.
