Dear Ktljjt,
I got you. You say, "I am worried about it." So, to ease your worry, thought I'd throw out a few towns in North Carolina with sex offender rates greater than Weaverville with less population, all gathered from our own city-data website. There's plenty with less offenders, some I didn't get to, just grabbed ones with familiar names to me, so you'd know things could be worse. And sorry if I took your meaning wrong, but your own words prompted me to do so.

Weaverville pop 2,642.....13 offenders

Fanklinton 1,985......20
Hertford 2,185.........17
Leland 2,599...........27
Madison 2,255.........16
Murphy 1,559...........15
Sparta 1,775............18
Taylorsville 1,854.....38

Now, for sure, ya gotta wonder about that Taylorsville! GG

Very possible, search Asheville and you will find a number living at 20 Davidson Dr. That would be the address of the Buncombe County Jail.

Numbers are just numbers, and meaningless without an complete understanding of how they were derived.

Yeah, and I think numbers is why this post got so difficult, aside from a few communication problems. I guess all things being equal, I'll rather live in Asheville...no, make that Charleston SC...no, make that an island in Bermuda...but then the most popular question asked on this board would be, "Do they have a Walmart?" Smile.
