Default Is Mulvane, KS growing?

I was thinking about moving to Mulvane. I grew up in the Wichita area and wanted to move back. We have school aged kids and were concerned with schools and what not. When we lived in Wichita, Derby was really growing but I don't know if we want to live there. Any info about Mulvane would be helpful. Thanks.

It has grown by about 15% since 2000, according to the US Census Bureau. Although this is conjecture, I'm sure it's growth has been influenced by Derby's massive growth. Also, there is a possibility of a casino being built near Mulvane (either there or near Wellington).

It has grown steadily the last 15 years or so.. If the state and lottery could have gotten its crap together we'd have a full fledged casino on the Sumner County side of the Sedgwick County line by Mulvane with a casino and entertainment area but who knowns if that will ever get going at this rate. I would think it be a nice area to be if you have employment options that are secure.

From what I observe, yes Mulvane is growing but not quite like Derby. I don't think it will grow for a while since the building has really slowed down.

Wichita has schools that are as good or better than those in Derby or Mulvane.
