Default I heard Popeyes is moving out East---

Is this true? Like the RR area. I sure hope so. I would also like a TGIF to move East.

The Natural Grocers that moved into the old Borders have been giving out lots of coupons. Got the latest for free almonds and vitamins.

I don't know how they will fare since there are so many vitamin shops opening in that area. The Vitamin shop at RR and 21st, then a vitamin shop down the street from it and I heard another one coming to Bradley Fair with Green Acres already there, etc.

I did buy the soups and cherry drinks from Natural Grocers and they were good so they may have hooked me on them. Not as much salt in the soups as Campbells.

Popeye's, from what I understand, is supposed to go into the Taco Tico building next to the Hooter's on North Rock Rd. I have not been seeing much work being done on that building so far though.

The Natural Grocers has some good selections and, for a store of its type, the prices actually seem pretty reasonable, especially on the produce items.

There's a lot of transition of restaurants in that area. Across the street there have been bosa grill, yogurt explosion and another frozen yogurt place go out of business. I suppose the fried chicken market is less competitive than the ice cream market. My wife and I tried pita pit yesterday. I really liked eat. They have a lot of vegetarian options which is good for us. Plus it's all the toppings you want without getting the dirty looks that I get when I go to chipotle.

Looks like the work is almost done, crossing fingers. There is also a small building next to it. My hubby saw coffee on it but he didn't catch all of it. Does anyone know what coffee house it will be? With Starbucks right down the street they are gutsy to start a competition with them.

We are going from the yogurt/ice cream war to the coffee war? Seems Dairy Queen and other big names win those wars.
