Surely not all public schools in Wichita are awful?
My husband has had some interviews in the area and in case we relocate to Wichita, I want to do as much advance work as possible. My daughter would be starting K in 2011 and we don't do private school. So that leaves us to either move to the suburbs (definitely not our first choice) or find a decent Wichita Public School. But I am not reading things that are all that encouraging. Does anyone have a specific school they can recommend? And if so, is it school choice by lottery or do I have to live within that school's neighborhood to get her in? I am sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I have been scouring the posts here and didn't really find anything more than "stay away from Wichita schools."
