Should I haul sand or water?
I have job offers from several trucking companies in Williston to haul sand or water. In both cases I have to live in the truck, which is ok by me.
Which job is preferable? Should I haul sand or water?
Another option I have is to operate a food concession trailer offering quality meals to drivers and riggers. Is there a need?
Thanks for your reply.

Depends who the job opportunities are from. There are tons of companies hauling both in the area. Some good. Some really, really bad. Sand doesn't freeze and doesn't soak your feet. Sand trucks get lots of standby on location. Fresh water trucks don't but dirty water trucks do. Produced water is steady, freshwater and flowback is not as steady. Sand guys generally haul just a few loads per day, water guys can haul 6-10 on a good day. Lots of variables. You aren't comparing hauling dirty water to fresh. You are comparing two totally different things.

Food concession are/were set up all over the place. it's by no means the money you'd get from driving truck. The city of Williston was all over the concession people this year. Probably not an ideal job.

Sounds like your asking about tanker or dump, which is mostly a preference thing,if you have not done either, just take your time.
