Post Williston News, Lights on at Motel 6

A new Motel 6 had a grand opening ribbon-cutting Friday in Williston. Greg Obendorf, a partner in the venture with his father, Ray Obendorf, said that half the rooms were rented the night before, “before we even had sheets on the beds.”

High. I just stayed at a motel 6 last week during my travels. Loved it. Slept like a baby.

Glad to see they didn't go cheap on this Motel6. Sounds like it is Motel 6's newest prototype, with hardwood floors, granite countertops, etc... sounds nice considering it is a Motel 6. Have to say some of the new hotels being built in Williston are on the nice side. The Best Western going up is an Atrea brand, which I heard is one of the better upscale prototypes for Best Western.

I once stayed at the Motel 6 in Bismarck, and I thought it was a total dump. In general I've been moderately satisfied with Motel 6's. However, what I've found lately is that I can get a better value by bidding on Priceline and often get free WiFi Internet (which I think Motel 6 charges for).

If anyone is ever in downtown San Diego, stay at the Motel 6 there. Nice. Well there is a few around there but the one by Horton plaza. Haven't seen the others but this one was retro looking and the rooms were small but the ebd was very upgraded for a motel bed. And a huge flat screen t.v.
