Nice, thanks for sharing and caring! Really interesting to see the other parts of the US that are growing too, awesome!

I like Wyoming and have been thinking of moving there someday. Went through the Big Horns on our trip this summer and loved it. Gillette was a really nice clean town too!

OMG!!! I took a look at the pics and I didn't even recognize the one of Williston, I seriously thought they put another city's pic in for it! I am seriously embarrassed that I had to look at it and study it until I figured out it was by the post office...sad of me...lol. It thru me with the elevators in the background, just look different in this pic.

Gillette is a really nice clean town - now. Didn't used to be that way. In the 1980's, Gillette was growing like gangbusters due to coal and later coal methane.

Gillette natives hated the way Gillette was changing and all the riff-raff growth brought in.

Gillette used to be what Williston is now. Williston can become like Gillette in another decade or more, only larger.

Looks like they took the picture from the top of the courthouse. Not a bad piccture but it doesn't really show the extent of the growth here. And their numbers for population growth are pretty low, the Census really screwed the pooch out here. They didn't take into account how many people that work here but still claim residency somewhere else. Williams County's population is probably closer to 35-40k now when you count the mancamps.
