United Airlines coming to Williston (Bismarck: prices, relocation, ticket)

Williston is finally get jet service after all these years of prop planes. United announced they will be serving Williston with regional jet service beginning in November. 3 flights a day to and from Denver non stop. I'm sure some of the Great Lakes patrons will be happy they now have a choice. $800 is pretty spendy, but I'm sure many people will use the service.

My husband and I were THRILLED when we heard this. We have tickets to the Formula 1 race in Austin, TX in November and were thinking of driving all the way to Bismarck since the Great Lakes planes make me incredibly sick (I do fine on jets and larger aircraft). Btw, I just looked up ticket prices and if we were to fly United it would cost us $570 to get to Salt Lake City.
