It's interesting to read the naysayers talk about the ramp in production as running out of steam.

Well, of course, as a percent, things are not showing the same numbers.
When the state increases production from 100k bb/day to 500k - that's a 500% ramp. When you go from there to a million that's "only" 100%. Things are petering out, I guess.
1 M bb/day puts ND as #20 in the world if it was a standalone country according to the
world factbook.
2 M would bump it up to #15.
ND would be #1 in the country, but TX is ramping even more with a heck of a log bigger existing infrastructure.
Another interesting thing to see is that as more oil is pumped, recoverable reserves are growing even more.
