Funny that Walker referred to himself as the "son of a preacher man" during the debates tonight. Obviously he doesn't realize the song of the same name had the meaning that he was a sweet-talker that was just trying to get into the singer's pants.

I voted for Barret in the 2010 election but after the embarrassing childish actions of our state senate in Feb. of 2011, fleeing to IL and demanding a recall of our leading elected official because they did not get what they wanted and hoped for I have decided to vote for Walker this time. Although I resent the "Blitz" method he employed immediately upon taking office he did roll up his sleeves and made the tough decisions he campaigned on. Remember fellow wisconsinites, Scott Walker won the majority populous vote and even though many of us did not agree with his campaign ideas the proper American way to react is to work within the system just like the republicans had to under Jim Doyle and vote him out in the next term election. What the Democrats did is show the rest of the country how ridiculously childish our state government is. That would be a turn off to most people thinking of relocating. That is a terrible stigma for our fine state to have.

I would like to add to keep it peaceful please. Here is one giant question, why do some people always vote for the D or the R when voting? I know they say "b/c the Republican party best lines up with my values" or "the democrats". To say that, I say BS b/c if you truly follow politics and really know the inside baseball of it all you cannot always vote for the party. Following politics is not just as simple as listening to talk radio or reading the JS and watching your favorite political pundit show. That is just the beginning. Following politics really is a full time job, a lot of c-span watching and bill reading is not as exciting as watching MSNBC or Fox News. Just food for thought. I have voted many times for a democrat but have yet to find a Dem who has voted for a conservative or republican. I vote for my values and morals not some stupid political party.
It's important to research the issues as you say, but my personal experience has been that every initiative and position taken by Republicans has been repulsive to me over the last 32 years that I've been eligible to vote, thus I've never voted Republican. I have voted Green Party and Democratic Party. Sometimes there's a right-wing Democrat who I would prefer not to vote for, but there is no alternative party candidate on the particular ticket; thus it's a 'lesser of two evils'.

On the presidential ticket, for example, I would prefer to vote for Jill Stein, but at all costs the Republican must not be put into office. Thus it's Obama, who has done some good and who certainly came into office at a time when the GOP had ravaged the economy (hey, do what you do best).

C-SPAN is a national treasure and I wish more people watched it.

Walker, because Barrett didn't answer the questions during debateII. He just waved his hands, berated Walker with no respect and came off as whiney.

I am voting Walker also. Barrett is just a puppet who will say what you want to hear but do anything behind your back and make up false lies to advance.
