Great pictures, I keep saying you guys are good that's why I wanted you to look at Ray Hartl's pictures. I went down to NE Illinois yesterday coming back, a mist, a light fog along the lake shore and total sunshine west of me. It was awesome. All the years I drove from Ill. to Wisc. I never appreciated the countryside, now I really do!
When I got to TR, if I looked west down the street, a setting sun, southeast the pines were encased in fog and of course, me with no camera!!!

I checked out Ray Hartl's web site. He has some beautiful pictures, I particular like the one in Paris of a bridge, #644. And of course all the ones he took at the Harley 100th anniversary.

Susan, I too did check out the Ray Hartl website, it was very interesting. I kinda wish he has a section focused on just Wisconsin.lol Other than that I think that guy has some real talent.

Great pictures gallon!!
I haven't seen all of them, but the Northern Wisconsin and Chesapeake were awesome. I specially like the Pestigo rapids and the Sullivan Pier sunrise. I had seen your beer signs and the hawk/squirrel encounter before. Good work!
Great job of putting it together into such a nice format.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I worked in DC area for many years. It is historic and photogenic out there, but way too stressful. Very happy to be back in Wisconsin. Now I need to get over and check out Ray Hartl's gallery as Susan directs us.

Here is some more pictures from this last week. I take a couple trips a week and just post my pictures at once. It's alot easier.
The Wisconsin River in Portage. The river was @ 18.49 feet. Quite a few areas were affected by the flooding. That bridge you see has water all the way up to the top of the posts. In normal season it's about 5' lower than that.
The Wisconsin River levee path in Portage. There is a walking path, very nice.
The infamous Lake Wisconsin

Love the river with the rose colored sunset, reflection, very good. I do like sunset pictures because I don't have a camera that can capture one!
