Just got back from Door County yesterday. I forgot how truly wonderful it is up there, its been about 8-10 years since my last trip. Anyways, here are some pics! I took TONS of photos, and dont have time to post them all, sorry! All I can say is that Door County is truly one of the greatest spots on earth. So peaceful and tranquil, so lush and green, so comfortable and intruiging, so warm and inviting. If I had the chance, Id love to buy a summer home up there, its just gorgeous. It rained every night and a few mornings, but the place we rented had a screened-in porch so we got to listen to the thunderstorms and the rain falling in the woods, it was very enjoyable. Daytime temps were in the perfect 70 degree range, which felt like a major relief compared to the upper 80 degree temps we left behind.
Some quick snapshots I took...
Woo hoo!!!
Pine scents, gentle breeze, 74 degrees and the bluest skies youll ever see... is this Heaven?
